Question: How do I make a booking?
Answer: It's easy! Just visit our Prices/availability page , and select the dates you are interested in. If its available, then the full price will appear when you hover the cursors over the requested date calendar. Then simply follow our online booking instructions. Your booking will be provisional until confirmed and you can choose to Pay the deposit by Cheque through the post OR online via paypal. If your arrival date is within 4 weeks of booking date, then Full payment will be required. Once you have made a booking, that period will turn Light Grey for a Provisional Booking and Dark Grey for a confirmed booking, and means the deposit or full payment has been made.

Question: What does the price include?
Answer: The price is all-inclusive. There are no surcharges as electricity and heating are all covered in the price. V.A.T is also included.

Question: Will I need to bring bed linen or towels?
Answer: No, these are all provided.

Question : How many cars can we bring?
Answer: At Ashling there is parking for a maximum of 2 cars with one of those cars being parked in the garage and the second car parked up snugly to the garage door. The cul de sac where Ashling House is situated is a private road where other residents live and whilst there is no charge for parking your cars, in respect of residents who live there, 2 cars are the maximum we can permit. There is a long stay car park on Nunnery Lane should you require parking for any additional cars.

Question: Can you cater for babies/toddlers?
Answer: We most certainly can! We are happy to provide a travel cot with bed linen, high chair, stair gate and baby monitor for the younger traveller. We make no charge for these items but please ensure we know that you require them by adding this information to the additional comments section on our booking page. Please state which of the items you will need and they will be ready and waiting for you on your arrival.

Question: What time can we check in and what time do we need to vacate by?
Answer: Guests can check in from 3pm. Should you arrive earlier than this, whilst you may not be able to access the property, you can at least park your car and wander off to town. Guests must vacate the property by 10am on the day of departure.

Question: Can we arrive on days other than Fridays and Mondays?
Answer: I'm afraid not. These dates are fixed. Over school and public holidays, we only accept week long bookings beginning on Fridays. Sorry!

Question: Do you accept Hen / Stag bookings or Corporate bookings?
Answer: Regarding single sex bookings, we have to respect the fact that this property is situated in a quiet, residential cul-de-sac. If your break is about having a good time which carries with it being perhaps louder than usual, Ashling House is not for you! If planning a Corporate booking, please be mindful that it will be up to you, the person making the booking, to ensure that guests comply with our No Smoking Policy, as well as their conduct whilst staying at Ashling House.

Question: How do I get in touch with someone regarding an aspect of my booking which I need to discuss/clarify?

Question: Have you any restrictions regarding bookings?
Answer: Only two! In consideration of other guests, we operate a strict No Smoking Policy throughout all of our property; also, we do not accept pets of any shape or size, no matter how well behaved!

Question: What happens should we accidently break something ?
Answer: We have not found it necessary to take a breakages deposit in the past. We would ask that you notify us should something break so that we can promptly replace it.

Question: Is it a quiet location?
Answer: Ashling House is located on a private cul-de-sac, which means that there is no through traffic or pedestrian thoroughfare to contend with. However, guests must bear in mind that this property is located in the city centre which means that there will be some degree of noise, particularly on an evening.
